Introduction
Train the Trainer Express has been created due to
popular demand to meet the needs of
groups that are training to be trainers but are unable
to attend longer duration courses. "Very
good course - the material was informative and prompted
me to be more self aware. I genuinely feel I have a
better understanding of what is expected of a good
trainer."

✅ Recognise the different learning styles and adapt
your training accordingly ✅ Understand how to
effectively run a training session from start to finish
✅ Plan and design training to ensure intended learning
outcomes are met

confident trainer and will incorporate the ideas and
themes of this course." Content
The units are as follows: Unit 1: How We Learn Unit 2: Starting a Training Session Unit 3: Delivering Training Unit 4: Assessment and Feedback Unit 5: Ending a Training Session Unit 6: Planning and Designing Group Training or On-the-Job Training? I deliver two specialised Train the Trainer Express programmes, each designed for a different training environment. The classroom-based course is ideal for those who lead structured training sessions for groups and covers the key skills required to design, plan and facilitate engaging learning experiences. The workplace-focused course is aimed at trainers who develop staff through practical, on-the-job learning, often on a one-to-one basis. It places greater emphasis on coaching, mentoring, task demonstration, competency assessment, and supporting learners in their day-to-day roles. While both programmes build core trainer skills, the content and delivery are tailored to their specific learning contexts. "Really enjoyed the
training, found it very useful and helped settle the
anxiety I was feeling about delivering my first ever

Developed from our highly successful Train the Trainer
programme, Train the Trainer Express is an intensive
course delivered over a single day; exploring areas such
as learning styles, training resources, delivery styles,
evaluation and dealing with challenging behaviour. As
most people will tell you, entering a training room for
the first time can be a daunting and nerve-racking
experience, and this course aims to make that experience
as easy as possible, introducing you to the basics and
helping you to quickly become effective and confident.
As well as classroom-style training, this course is also
suitable for trainers involved in on-the-job, one-to-one
and small group delivery, including demonstration.
Trainers who operate on the factory floor, in retail,
shops, offices and workplaces will find this course of
great benefit.

This unit looks at the importance of assessment and feedback as part of your training delivery.
This unit looks at techniques to bring your training session to a successful conclusion, as well as the importance of evaluation/feedback from delegates and your own self-evaluation of the training delivered.
