Introduction
Dealing with difficult and challenging behaviour is something that affects many of us in our daily working lives. Whether we are trainers/educators, working with the young/elderly or customer facing, challenging behaviour - if not handled correctly - can have a negative affect on staff, families, friends and the reputation of the organisation. This interactive and informative workshop looks at the causes of challenging behaviour and identifies strategies that will help you break the cycle, enabling you to spend more time on your job and less time managing behaviour.

Who the course is aimed at
Dealing with Challenging Behaviour has been designed for trainers and staff who might be faced with behaviour issues from service users. This includes the care industry, child care, mental health, retail, public service, tenant services, trainers, teachers and educators working with difficult learners, and most customer-facing staff. It serves as a refresher for experienced staff and a learning platform for staff who are new to the subject.
